Corpus Christi, Texas
Where do you start? Let’s begin with a simple premise – there is never a bad day to bird along the Coastal Bend. Therefore where you start should be based on where you are coming from (in other words, there are birds to see wherever you choose to stop first).
Don’t be left out of the loop!
Corpus Christi sits on the Central Texas Coast (CTC) Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail. The coastal birding trail is a wonderfully marked trail system with conveniences such as boardwalks, parking pullouts, observation platforms, and landscaping to attract native wildlife. These features allow you to get closer to see Texas’s breathtaking birds. The Central Coast map starts near Matagorda Bay, traveling through the Victoria and Corpus Christi areas, and ends just south of Kingsville.
No matter which direction you head into Corpus Christi, there is a Birding Loop along the way.
